McDonalds Healthy Food is Bad?

McDonalds is one of the largest fast food chains in the world, some could argue that they still stand as the largest of them all. Their famous for the McNuggets, Big Macs and Happy Meals but over the course of the last few years their profit margins have dropped by a drastic amount. This is due to people becoming more health conscious. McDonalds promised they’d release new items that are pro-healthy such as Kale, Matcha, Quinoa, Sprouts, Green Tea & more. Unfortunately, it appears that this fast food chain hasn’t learned their lesson as these new additions appear to be unhealthier then regular menu items.


This hasn’t shocked food analysts who claim that a company such as McDonalds will never provide healthy food as they believe that customers will become addicted to their food & thus by crave it daily. McDonalds is wrong as the average Northern American only attends McDonalds three times a month now compared to the previous thirteen times a month back in 2009. This is a drastic change.

The Matcha Green Tea Latte which is now available in McDonalds has 218 Calories as well as 25 Grams of Sugar. This is more than their regular latte’s and far greater than any normal coffee shop. Avocado on the other hand is 24.1 Grams of fat & 269 calories. These healthy options are now being developed to be unhealthy, it’s as if McDonalds is saying “Screw You” to the entire world by refusing to operate in a healthy manner. This’ll eventually backfire on this worldwide conglomerate.
